Google hatte uns mit dem Hinweis dort hingeführt, dass diese Pizzeria bei den Isländern selbst sehr bliebt sei. Als wir da waren, wussten wir auch warum. Bei dem Gamla Smiðjan handelt es sich im Prinzip um eine einfache Imbiss-Bude mit Lieferdienst, wie es sie in Deutschland an jeder Ecke gibt. Aber sie ist sehr zentral gelegen und problemlos fußläufig erreichbar. Und sie bieten dort sehr leckere Pizza zu (für isländische Verhältnisse) unschlagbaren Preisen an. Wir waren absolut begeistert. Wem der Sinn nach sehr guter und trotzdem günstiger Pizza steht, ist hier richtig!

Great pizza... Ordered an Americana during a delayed flight to Vestmann Island at Eagle air... Needless to say it was the best pizza I've had while touring Scandinavia... Thanks guys... #delivert

reasonable prices and wonderfull pizzas. Much better than most here in Iceland. And the service is fast, good and cheerfull :-)
