(Þýtt af Google) Vertu í burtu frá þeim stað! Það er engin aðstoð í móttökunni, hótelið er tómt, ekkert starfsfólk! Innritunarferlið er ekki til… þú færð stafrænan kóða ef þú hringir í númerið sem sýnt er á hurðinni, en….Enginn svarar! Eftir klukkutíma kom einhver að bílnum mínum og sagði að hann væri með kóða í herbergið mitt! Ef þú týnir blaðinu... kemstu ekki aftur í herbergið þitt! (Upprunalegt) Stay away from that place! There is no front desk assistance, hotel is empty, no personnel at all! Check in process doesn’t exist…u get digital code if u call the number shown on the door, but….No one answers! After one hour someone just approached my car saying he has a code to my room! If u loose that piece of paper…u won’t get back to ur room!

Extremely quiet place. Almost nobody was there during our recent stay last week. We found it very clean. We had some plumbing issues with a floor drain and got prompt attention to fix it. Very small village and not much to do but it was convenient for our itinerary.

Die Rezeption des Hotels ist nicht besetzt. Der „Check-In“ erfolgt telefonisch bei einer sehr unfreundlichen Dame, die einem die Zimmernummer und 4-stelligen Code durchgibt. Damit kommt man dann ins Hotel und ins Zimmer. Im Hotel riecht es überall recht unangenehm. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Das Fenster lässt sich kaum öffnen. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Frühstück wurde jedoch „aufgrund Corona“ gestrichen. Der wahre Grund dürfte wohl eher der sein, dass wir die einzigen Gäste im Hotel waren. Eine (Teil-)Erstattung seitens des Hotels wird abgelehnt. Definitiv keine Empfehlung wert.

(Þýtt af Google) Ekki eins góð og önnur gistihús sem við höfum upplifað: Morgunmaturinn er halla án eggja, lítið úrval af brauð og jams; rúm er ekki gert ef þú dvelur meira en eina nótt; sturta gluggatjöld okkar voru stutt, svo að vatn helltist í baðherbergi ... sem hópur við höfðum 4 herbergi og átti þetta vandamál í 3 af 4 herbergjum; þó hátækni aðgangur gegnum númerin, sá ekkert fólk til morgunmat .... mjög ópersónulega og kalt skipulag. (Upprunalegt) Not as good as other guest houses we've experienced: breakfast is lean with no eggs, small variety of breads and jams; bed is not done if u stay more than one night; our shower curtains were short, so water poured into bathroom...as a group we had 4 rooms, and had this problem in 3 of the 4 rooms; though high tech access thru codes, saw no people till breakfast....very impersonal and cold setup.

We booked here in the middle of winter (between christmas and new years) and apparently the hostel is actually closed during those periods. However, they went out of their way to open up for us and even had someone come through in the evenings to serve us from the bar :) had a wonderful stop over stay. thanks for everything.

(Þýtt af Google) Þægilegt, hreint, hagnýtt. Með enga starfsfólki fyrr en um morguninn fyrir morgunmat og húshald (og þau eru mjög gott). Staðsett í alvöru rólegu og ættingja einmana svæði. Nálægt einum bensínstöð / frábærum markaði. Góð gæði / verðhlutfall. (Upprunalegt) Comfortable, clean, functional. With no staff until the mornings for the breakfast and house keeping (and they are very nice). Located in a real quiet and relative lonely zone. Close to one gas station / super market. Good quality/price ratio.

Good location for exploring the beautiful snaefellsnes peninsula. Please note, that the hotel does not offer much in the department of personal service; check-in and check-out is automated by code, and there just is no staff available during the day. Breakfast is the only time you might see some staff, and even some other people. It worked for us, but for some people it might feel very empty and dull here. The hotel in our opinion, should make this mlre clear, when advertising. Breakfast is very basic, but it's fine to get your batteries charged before the adventures ahead. Beds are not amazingly comfortable, quite bouncy, but all in all, it is not a bad choice of accomodation when staying on the peninsula.
